Job Description

Qualifications, Skills and Experience required: Bookkeeping, finance diploma or degree. 3-5 years experience in a finance-focused role, ideally within the education sector. Strong bookkeeping/accounting knowledge essential Experience in preparation of monthly management accounts, capex and opex budgets is essential. High attention to detail and strong analytical ability. Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Organised, task-driven and customer-centric. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset. Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial systems. Key Responsibilities: Lead financial management and serve as a business partner to campus leadership. Oversee annual operating and capital budget processes, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives. Monitor expenditure against budgets and provide variance analysis. Ensure billing accuracy for customers and third parties. Manage procurement and accounts payable processes in line with policy. Oversee debt management, collections, and bursary/discount processes. Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end closing. Prepare and submit CAPEX applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Monitor and manage budgets for campus events, camps, and tours. Act as a financial liaison between campus operations and central finance teams.
