Johannesburg: Business Development Executive: Clearing & Forwarding

Responsibilities: Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities across air, sea, and road freight services Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients through networking, cold calling, and client visits Promote and sell end-to-end clearing and forwarding solutions, including customs clearance, warehousing, and transport Negotiate rates, prepare proposals, and close deals to meet and exceed sales targets Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure a seamless client experience Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activity, and global freight developments Required Skills & Experience: Minimum 4-5 years experience in new business sales within the Clearing & Forwarding or Freight Forwarding industry Strong understanding of import/export processes, customs procedures, and incoterms Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Highly motivated, self-driven, and able to work independently Valid drivers license and own reliable transport
