The Skid Loader Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining the skid steer (skid loader) to safely move, load, and organize waste tyres and related materials within the factory premises. The role supports smooth production flow by ensuring efficient handling of tyres from delivery through processing, while maintaining strict safety, cleanliness, and operational standards.Key Responsibilities:Operate the skid loader to move, load, and stockpile waste tyres in designated areas. Operate Fork lift as wellFeed tyres into processing machines (shredders, crushers, or conveyors) .Maintain a clean and organized working area, ensuring tyres are stacked safely and efficiently.Conduct daily pre-operation inspections and basic maintenance (oil, fuel, tyres, hydraulics).Report any equipment faults or safety concerns to the Supervisor immediately.Coordinate with the factory floor and logistics teams to ensure continuous workflow.Assist with loading and offloading of trucks delivering or collecting tyres and materials.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, especially concerning waste handling.Participate in routine clean-up and maintenance activities around the processing yard.Support general production tasks when not operating machinery.Undertake other responsibilities as may be required from time to time by management to support the operations of the department.4 to 5 years Exp required.
