About the Role
Hire Resolve is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional Structural Engineer/Technologist to join our client’s team for a special maintenance of structures project based in the Western and Northern Cape. The candidate should be experienced in SANRAL projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of various structures, such as buildings, bridges, and towers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and analyze structures using relevant software and codes
- Prepare construction drawings and specifications
- Conduct site inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to develop design concepts and solutions
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure timely delivery
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technologists
- Stay up to date with industry trends, codes, and regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
- Professional registration with ECSA (Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng)
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in structural engineering
- Proven track record with SANRAL projects
- Proficient in relevant structural design software
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of structural engineering principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
