About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and commercially savvy Club General Manager to lead a prestigious private members Fitness & Wellness Club in Johannesburg. This is an opportunity to change people’s lives for the better through wellness by building a thriving social wellness community focused on physical, mental, nutritional and social wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee full club operations including commercial performance, facility standards, health and safety, people management, member experience, compliance and competitor analysis.
- Manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional customer relations and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate entrepreneurial mindset with project management capability to drive business growth and success.
Requirements
- 6 years’ experience as a General Manager within a premium or luxury hospitality, country club or retail environment.
- Strong 4 or 5 star hotel background.
- Relevant Business, Hospitality or Retail qualification at NQF 7 level.
- Proven commercial acumen with solid financial and P&L management knowledge.
- Strong leadership and people management experience.
