Requirements & Qualifications Proficiency in Edgecam software with Advanced Milling and Essential Turning modules. Strong background in CNC Milling and Turning, with a bias toward Milling experience. Qualified in Turning, Machining, or a similar trade (relevant trade certificate required). 510 years of proven working experience in CNC programming and operation. Ability to write CNC programs from scratch and modify existing programs. Capable of setting up and operating both CNC Milling Machines and CNC Lathes. Excellent knowledge of tooling, speeds, feeds, and machining best practices. Key Responsibilities Program CNC Milling and Turning machines using Edgecam software (Advanced Milling & Essential Turning Modules). Write, test, and adjust CNC programs to ensure parts are produced to specification. Set up and operate CNC Milling machines (primary) and CNC Lathes (secondary). Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions to ensure accurate machining. Perform first-off inspections and verify that components meet required tolerances. Troubleshoot and resolve programming, setup, and machining issues to minimize downtime. Maintain tooling, fixtures, and machine condition to support consistent production quality. Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and team members to meet production targets and deadlines. Comply with safety and quality standards within the workshop environment.
