About the Role
We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and innovative Digital Content Specialist to join our team at Macrocomm. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for designing and producing engaging digital content that enhances brand visibility, drives audience engagement, and supports marketing objectives. This role integrates creative design, content strategy, and digital marketing to ensure compelling storytelling across various platforms, aligning with the South African market trends and consumer behaviour.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality digital content, including graphics, videos, blogs, and social media posts, tailored to specific audiences/communities.
- Design visually appealing assets for websites, advertisements, and branding materials, ensuring cultural relevance.
- Create and schedule posts, monitor engagement, and optimize content for different platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Implement SEO strategies and digital marketing techniques to enhance content visibility, considering South African search trends.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey ideas clearly and effectively across different mediums.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in digital content creation, graphic design, or social media management.
- Developing high-quality multimedia content across various platforms.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Canva.
- A strong collection of creative work showcasing design, content creation, and digital marketing skills.
