Job Summary
Requirements
- Degree in Finance or relevant qualification required
- RE5 certificate
- NQF5 STI qualification
- Relevant FAIS credits (120 credits) preferred
- 5 years of Financial Lines Account Executive experience
- Technical Broking experience in the field preferred
- Insurance Institute Associate designation preferred
Responsibilities
- Responsible for Book of business which includes growth (organic, new business, upselling, cross-selling), maintenance, and retention
- Regular client interactions and documented outcomes/discussion
- Provide good advice to clients and explain policies to protect their assets and protect them against financial loss
- Up-to-date knowledge of changes in the insurance industry (class of business training, CPD training, product-specific training)
- Compliance knowledge, champion and ensure adherence to all Company`s procedures and FAIS requirements
- Advocate Treating Customers Fairly principles including internal clients external clients and third parties (potential new clients)
- Take overall accountability for claims on all clients manage clients understanding and expectations and deal with any issues
- Work with the Claims team on all relevant claims and also liaise with the Claims Manager on complex claims where required
- Work with the Technical Broker were requested to ensure that procedures, policies, and documents are completed
- Provide clear instructions and complete information to the Technical Broke
