About the Role
Tumaini Consulting is seeking an experienced Distribution Centre Manager to join their team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the distribution centre, ensuring efficient and effective logistics management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise a team of warehouse staff
- Implement and maintain Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Monitor and control inventory levels and stock movements
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth supply chain operations
- Analyze and optimize distribution centre processes for improvement
Requirements
- National Senior Certificate Diploma / Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations or related
- Strong DC Operations knowledge
- WMS experience (Manhattan)
- 5 – 7 years warehouse experience with supervisory or management exposure
