Job Description

Key Responsibilities Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults on earthmoving machinery Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance Repair and overhaul engines, transmissions, axles, and hydraulic systems Conduct fault-finding using diagnostic tools and software Attend to breakdowns on-site when required Complete job cards and service reports accurately Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition Equipment Experience (Advantageous) Experience working on one or more of the following: Excavators Bulldozers TLBs Front-end loaders Graders Articulated dump trucks Compactors (Brands such as Caterpillar, Komatsu, Volvo, Bell, JCB, Hitachi, etc.) Minimum Requirements Qualified Diesel Mechanic / Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic (Trade Test essential) Minimum 35 years post-trade experience on heavy earthmoving equipment Strong knowledge of hydraulics, diesel engines, and electrical systems Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
