About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Finance Operations Administrator to join our team in Johannesburg, supporting day-to-day finance activities within a regulated insurance environment. This 12-month contract position is highly execution-focused and requires strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Issue invoices, receipts, and payment confirmations.
- Manage the finance mailbox and respond to client and broker queries.
- Follow up on outstanding premiums and manage debtor listings.
- Process policy cancellations and reinstatements due to non-payment.
- Investigate failed payments and resolve payment-related issues.
- Perform daily finance processing on Sage Intacct, including bookkeeping and bank reconciliations.
Requirements
- 35 years of experience in finance operations, bookkeeping, billing, or debtors.
- Experience in insurance or financial services preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and ability to manage high volumes.
