A corporate retail store has a vacancy for a Foods Department Manager in the far South of Johannesburg The successful Candidate will be responsible for the following duties: Ensure delivery of consistent shopping experience. Input all foods departmental activities against budgets and business plans. Ensure sales are in line with the agreed budgets. Maximise selling opportunities for foods instore via selling space. Manage food sales plan. Manage operational standards, shrinkage, waste amd stock accuracy. Stock replenishment. Manage hot foods standards. Matric. Previous experience working within a foods environment. Strong people management experience. Train, motivate and develop staff. Performance managment. Customer service driven. Ability to drive sales and turnover. Excellent communication skills. Clear criminal record.
