About the Role
Our client, a dynamic travel and hospitality conglomerate based in Johannesburg North, requires a technically strong Group Financial Manager to step in on a 5-month contract role. The successful candidate will focus heavily on consolidations, reporting, controls, and audit readiness across the group structure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Group reporting and multi-entity consolidations
- Strengthen finance structures and internal control frameworks
- Manage internal and external audit processes
- Oversee tax and VAT compliance
- Drive budgeting and forecasting cycles
- Monitor working capital and cash flow performance
- Support risk management and governance alignment
- Partner with stakeholders across finance and operations
Requirements
- CA(SA) essential
- 45 years post-articles experience
- Minimum 2 years consolidations experience
- Strong Group reporting and technical accounting capability
- Services industry experience advantageous
- Knowledge of tax, VAT, and risk management
- Strong business acumen, particularly around supplier relationships
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
