 REQUIREMENTS 
Minimum Qualifications 
 Diploma or Degree in Finance or Related Field 
Minimum Experience 
 5 years experience as a Kronos Specialist 
 Proven experience and expert knowledge in operating and managing Kronos time and attendance system. 
 5 years experience in a Supervisory and Management role 
Added Advantage – – 
Experience in the Private Healthcare Industry 
Certification in the Kronos system

DELIVERABLES 
 Implement, monitor, and control Kronos (time and attendance) processes according to quality 
standards and relevant policy. 
 Develop, align, mapping and implementation of end-to-end standard operating procedures and 
processes. 
 Provide analytics to management to enable informed decision making to optimise performance 
 Provide management reports to all stakeholders as required 
 Perform regular audits and analyse data to make recommendations. 
 Provide guidance, awareness, training, and solutions to ensure accurate transfer of system 
knowledge. 
 Provide access to the Kronos system and update with valid data for payroll processing. 
 Lead and drive continuous improvement activities and identify and manage operational risks. 
 Establish Kronos access protocols and approval controls based on different functional roles. 
 Audit and Review Kronos records for accuracy of hours worked, leave taken and accounts charged 
for hours worked for all employees. 
 Audit and review each pay period to ensure compliance with all rules, policies, and legislative / 
regulatory requirements. 
 Facilitate electronic extracts of Kronos payment information to ensure accurate and timeous 
payment of hours worked. 
 Develop the framework for solution design. 
 Provide oversight and management of user access and technical problem resolution through: – 
Assisting Kronos users with basic troubleshooting to ensure timeous and accurate processing of 
timecard transactions and minimizing errors, resolving escalated queries related to time and 
attendance from HR and Payroll and providing feedback to stakeholders to resolve rejected 
timesheets 
 Investigate and understand stakeholders needs to enable delivery of a quality service. 
 Ensure relevant financial documentation (related to Payroll and within scope) is maintained to 
support accurate record keeping as per legislation. 
 Comply with cost controls in order to achieve the section budget. 
 Ensure monthly and weekly Payroll deadlines are met. 
 Provide Supervision and management of performance outputs to the team. 
 Research, collate and present business intelligence to feed into management decisions and support 
business strategy. 
 Analyse information and reports to identify trends, discrepancies, and inconsistencies for decision
making purposes.
