Were hiring a commercial leader to establish and scale an agency operation in Tanzania. If you bring deep shipping/logistics know-how, full P&L ownership, and a hands-on leadership style, this is your platform to drive growth and operational excellence.

About the Role
Youll set up and lead the local agency, deliver the budget and scorecard, and ensure safe, efficient port/terminal and equipment operations. Youll own the P&L, optimise working capital, and build a high-performing, compliant team aligned to global standards.

What Youll Do

• Provide visionary leadership and build a sustainable agency team

• Formulate and execute the commercial plan; deliver revenue, margin, and growth targets

• Oversee port/terminal operations, equipment flow, and service delivery

• Manage P&L, budgets, cash flow, and debtor control with accurate reporting

• Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, labour, and governance requirements

• Identify opportunities and mitigate risks across customers and vendors

• Foster strong relationships with ports, terminals, authorities, and key customers

What You Bring

• 10+ years general management with full P&L responsibility (shipping/liner/logistics ideal)

• Proven commercial leadership in emerging markets

• Strong knowledge of port/terminal operations and equipment management

• Hands-on leader with excellent stakeholder and communication skills

• Bachelors/Masters degree advantageous; fluent in English
