Key Responsibilities
Pricing Strategy Development: Establish and refine comprehensive pricing strategies that align with market trends and business goals.
Portfolio Management: Oversee performance analysis of existing portfolio offerings and make data-driven adjustments to pricing models.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a skilled pricing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with departments such as Marketing, Sales, and Actuarial to ensure pricing strategies are effectively implemented.
Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify competitive positioning and potential pricing opportunities.
Data Insights: Utilize advanced analytics to assess pricing effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
Compliance Oversight: Ensure that all pricing practices adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate with key stakeholders to present pricing strategies and gather feedback.
Performance Metrics: Develop KPIs to monitor pricing initiatives and report on their impact on the company`s bottom line.
Innovation in Pricing: Explore and implement innovative pricing models that enhance value for both the company and its customers.
Requirements:
Bachelor`s degree in Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, or related field; Masters degree preferred.
A minimum of 7 years of experience in pricing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Deep understanding of the insurance market, pricing theory, and financial forecasting.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical software and data visualization tools.
Proven track record in developing and executing successful pricing strategies.
Excellent leadership and people management skills.
Ability to communicate complex concepts effectively to diverse audiences.
Experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration.
Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related analytical tools.
