Intermediate Digital IT Software Solutions Project Manager for External Companies – with experience in Individual Life Insurance Industry Must be living In Johannesburg only Permanent Position | to work Hybrid Must have own transport and driver’s license Must have a Matric Must have a Software Degree or software Diplomas or other advantage Must have a Project management certificate Must have the full SDLC (Software development Life cycle) working experience. Agile experience Must be willing to go and see External Clients/ Companies at their premises when requested. Must have minimum 4 – 5 years working experience as an IT Software solutions Project Manager with experience in the Individual Life Insurance Industry’s Must have working experience in the Life Insurance/Funeral/ Risk Industry and working Experience in Software Solutions Projects for External Client/companys Services Focus is on the External Client/ Companies always You must have gained working experience as a IT software Project Manager having own IT software development Team reporting to you regarding Digital software solutions to be developed for the External Client/Company in Life insurance Industries to complete on time as the External Clients request – then to Go- Live Manage the project plan according to the agreed External Client Life Insurance Industry project targets. Monitor progress to achieving milestones . Review the status of all logs for a given development phase (target date) and address any delays with either the Account or Developer Manager. Consider alternatives/action steps where overruns. Deadline orientated Handle all communication between the External client and the Company. Manage changed events affecting project timelines. Lead planning and/or implementation of IT Software solutions projects in the Life Insurance domain. May have to participate in the software design and/or software testing phases. Facilitate the definition of project missions, goals, tasks, and resource requirements Resolve /assist in the resolution of conflicts within and between digital software development projects or functional areas Develop methods to monitor project or area progress; and provide corrective supervision if necessary. Responsibility for assembling the project staff; for their technical or functional development, performance, and/or termination during the project or projects. Manage project budget and resource allocation. Interact regularly with existing or potential External companies to determine their needs and to develop plans for improving delivery. Monthly Salary package: Up to R 60 000 CTC per Month not negotiable (the Salary is dependent on years of relevant working experience gained regarding this Vacancy only as well as current Salary earned) Please Note: A Pension Fund of between 4% – 11% of your Monthly Salary will be deducted from your Monthly Salary, which is mandatory for all employees, the full amount would be also deducted from your Monthly Salary – this is not negotiable. NB: (the Company does not contribute to the Pension Fund at all)
