About the Role

Hire Resolve’s client is a leading beverage manufacturing company with multiple production facilities in Gauteng. They are known for their high-quality products and commitment to sustainability. As part of their expansion plans, they are seeking an experienced Internal Logistics Team Leader to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, motivate, and manage a team of logistics coordinators.
Set clear performance goals, provide feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
Analyze current internal logistics processes and identify areas for improvement.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize the flow of materials and products.
Oversee the inventory control processes, including stock accuracy, cycle counting, and reconciliations.
Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure proper inventory levels and minimize stockouts.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for inventory management.
Coordinate with production, planning, and purchasing departments to ensure smooth material flow and on-time deliveries.
Monitor and track inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Proven leadership experience, including managing a team of logistics coordinators.
Strong knowledge of internal logistics processes, inventory management, and supply chain coordination.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships across departments.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.
Proficiency in using logistics software, ERP systems, and MS Office Suite.

Qualifications

Degree or diploma in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is desirable.
