About the Role
The Inventory Manager will play a critical role in maintaining accurate inventory records, analyzing inventory levels, and implementing efficient inventory management strategies to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize stockouts. As an integral member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth through effective inventory management practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement inventory management policies and procedures
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software
- Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and take corrective actions
- Analyze inventory levels and trends to forecast demand and plan stock replenishment
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of inventory and maintain good relationships
- Monitor inventory turnover rates and set inventory levels to optimize stock levels
- Implement cost-saving measures and minimize excess stock holding
- Identify and resolve inventory issues such as overstock, stockouts, and obsolete inventory
- Train and supervise inventory control staff to ensure compliance with inventory management policies
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize inventory management processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in inventory management or related field
- Proficient in inventory management software and MS Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
Salary & Benefits
Salary: R750K/yr – R800K/yr, negotiable. Family Leave (Maternity, Paternity), Training & Development, Paid Time Off (PTO)
