Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Java Spring Developer to join our dynamic DevOps team responsible for developing and maintaining Central Ordering applications.
Responsibilities:
Part of a DevOps team responsible for the development and maintenance of the Central Ordering applications.
Participate in all relevant Agile ceremonies.
Meet with end users to understand Business requirements.
Contribute to the refinement and sizing of user stories.
Develop systems solutions in line with quality and delivery requirements.
Identify risks / impediments and proactively resolve and / or escalate to the relevant parties.
Review and present proposed system solution to Product Owner.
Comply with Code Compliance & Unit Testing standards and practices.
Prepare system/technical documentation (as per ISO standards).
Provide support for existing solutions (DevOps) including standby.
Pro-active knowledge sharing, mentoring, and coaching of members from the same or other teams.
Other responsibilities as per AWM Charter or as decided by department manager.
Requirements
Essential Skills
Requirements:
Java Spring boot
Cloud infrastructure (AWS)
SQL (Oracle, Postgres)
Kafka & JMS (MQ)
DevOps (Git, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines)
Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter
RESTful and SOAP services
Design and development of Microservices with deep understanding of API based development experience
Maven, docker
Jira, confluence
Unit testing, integration testing
Qualifications/Experience:
IT Degree / Diploma / Equivalent experience
3 8 years Java Spring development experience
Extensive experience in implementing and monitoring solutions
Experience in testing (manual and / or automated testing)
AWS architect, Dev Ops or developer advantageous
