Job Description

The Junior Designer will support the creative team by producing high-quality artwork, layouts, and print-ready materials across a range of pharmaceutical brands, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and excellent execution. Key Responsibilities Design & Creative Support Assist in the design and development of promotional materials for pharmaceutical and healthcare clients Create layouts for both print and digital assets, including: Detail aids Patient brochures Sales force materials Social media assets Journal advertisements Apply brand guidelines consistently across all creative work Contribute to concept development under the guidance of senior team members DTP (Desktop Publishing) Skills Prepare documents for professional print production with strong attention to typography, layout, and formatting Manage multiple file types and versions efficiently Ensure correct use of styles, grids, and formatting for clean, polished output Design, dtp and repo will be a big part of your everyday tasks Work confidently in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly: InDesign Illustrator Photoshop AI / Digital – would be a benefit Animation / GIFs Reprographic & Print Production Skills Prepare accurate, press-ready artwork according to printer specifications Set up files correctly for: Bleeds, trims, crop marks CMYK colour profiles Image resolution standards Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical industry requirements, including legal copy and mandatory information Agency & Team Collaboration Work closely with designers, copywriters, account managers, and medical copywriters Take direction and feedback constructively Support the studio with production tasks and artwork amendments Maintain organised file structures and version control Key Skills & Competencies Essential Skills Strong design and layout ability with an eye for detail Solid understanding of typography and print production processes Competency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign essential) Good repro and artwork preparation skills Ability to work accurately under deadlines Strong organisational and communication skills Desirable Skills Basic understanding of medical advertising compliance and approval processes is beneficial Familiarity with digital formats (HTML banners, email layouts, social content, digital, short videos and gifs Motion or video editing skills (After Effects/Premiere) a plus Qualifications & Experience Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design or related field 2 Years studio or agency experience (internships included) Portfolio demonstrating strong layout, DTP, and print-ready execution Personal Attributes Detail-driven and quality focused Eager to learn and develop within an agency environment Reliable, proactive, and able to multitask Passionate about design Good attitude
