Johannesburg: Junior Mechanical CAD Operator/Draughtsman

Responsibilities / Duties Produce accurate mechanical drawings and CAD models. Work with engineering teams to develop technical and manufacturing drawings. Assist in updating and revising existing drawings as required. Ensure compliance with drawing standards and tolerances. Collaborate with production and design teams to ensure feasibility and accuracy. Maintain organised drawing files and project documentation. Requirements Qualifications & Experience 45 years experience in mechanical drafting/CAD work. Strong background in technical/mechanical drawing (formal training or technical drawing in school advantageous). Proficiency in Solidworks (preferred) or Autodesk software. Sober habits Residing in or near East Rand (Boksburg, Kempton Park, Benoni, Germiston). Skills & Competencies Excellent mechanical drawing and interpretation skills. Attention to detail with strong accuracy in drafting. Willingness to learn and adapt to new CAD software if required. Good teamwork and communication skills. Strong time management and organisational skills.
