About the Role
Takora Pty Ltd is seeking a Junior Project Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. As a key member of our project engineering team, you will be responsible for supporting the design, development, and implementation of solar PV projects. If you have a strong background in electrical or mechanical engineering and experience working on solar PV projects, we would like to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design, development, and implementation of solar PV projects
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure successful project delivery
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for projects
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering Degree or Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronic
- At least 1.5 years of solar PV project engineering experience at a Solar EPC or advisor in the South African C&I embedded generation market
- Knowledge of financial drivers and metrics of renewable energy systems
- Valid driver’s licence
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
