About the Role

Takora Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated and experienced Junior Project Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. As a key member of our solar PV project engineering team, you will play a crucial role in delivering successful solar PV projects for our clients in the South African C&I embedded generation market.

Key Responsibilities

Manage projects from conception to completion
Write reports and presentations for stakeholders
Lead meetings with clients and team members
Conduct site visits and inspections
Develop and implement project plans and timelines

Requirements

Bachelor of Engineering Degree or Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronic
At least 1.5 years of solar PV project engineering experience at a Solar EPC or advisor in the South African C&I embedded generation market
Knowledge of financial drivers and metrics of renewable energy systems
Valid driver’s license

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronic Engineering
