About the Role

As a Logistics Specialist, you will play a key role in enhancing supply chain performance and drive meaningful improvements across the business. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, collaborating with service providers, and implementing global best practices to ensure smooth operational flow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations including warehousing, inbound/outbound logistics, inventory, transport coordination, and reverse logistics.
  • Collaborate with service providers to secure timely imports/exports and maintain smooth operational flow.
  • Support improvement initiatives using Lean principles to resolve root-cause issues and drive sustainable efficiencies.
  • Implement global best practices while tailoring them to local market requirements.
  • Partner with Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, and other teams to strengthen the full customer journey.
  • Manage operational costs, improve KPIs, and clearly communicate performance insights.
  • Conduct audits, implement controls, and maintain a robust, risk-mitigated operating environment.

Requirements

  • An Honours degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Industrial Engineering.
  • 36 years of experience in Supply Chain, specifically in distribution, warehousing, or operational projects.
  • Demonstrated achievements in performance improvement, KPI management, or process implementation.
  • Knowledge of import/export processes (advantageous).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Experience with Lean methodologies (advantageous).
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI.
  • SAP experience (preferred).
