Responsibilities:
Drive sales and revenue growth by establishing strong relationships with government agencies and travel management companies. Promote and sell conferencing and accommodation services to potential clients. Achieve set sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the team. Maintain and grow client relationships to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships. The Ideal Candidate: Proven experience in sales within hotel environments and/or with government and travel management companies. Energetic and vibrant personality with a strong drive to meet and exceed targets. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. If youre a passionate sales professional looking for an exciting new challenge, we want to hear from you Qualifications Relevant qualification is ideal Skills Minimum of 2 years hotel/conference venue sales experience High degree of self-motivation and ambition High level of customer service orientation, discipline, organisational skills, attention to detail, and a strong drive to meet deadlines Excellent communication skills in English and proficiency in IsiXhosa, IsiZulu, or Afrikaans is an advantage Previous experience in Groups, Conferences and Events sales Previous experience in various market sectors i.e. Corporate, Government, Travel Management Companies and Professional Conference Organisers Own vehicle required Benefits Commission Travel Allowance Company Cellphone
