Johannesburg North: Actuarial Analyst (Non-Life) posted by Network Finance

Key Responsibilities

• Perform monthly capital calculations for the organisation and its clients
• Assist with IFRS 17 modelling of LRC and LIC provisions
• Take ownership of capital projections for ORSA processes
• Participate in initiatives aimed at capital optimisation and regulatory compliance
• Contribute to quarterly and annual regulatory deliverables

Job Experience and Skills Required

Education

• Degree in Actuarial Science

Experience

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Actuarial Analyst
• Passed or exempt from at least 9 CT actuarial exams (or equivalent)

Skills

• Expert knowledge of MS Office
• Advanced experience with MS SQL and programming
• Strong understanding of SCR components and prudential standards
• Familiarity with IFRS 4, IFRS 17, and the Insurance Act

Advantageous

• Experience in non-life insurance
• Exposure to cell captive structures
