Johannesburg North: Assistant financial manager posted by Network Finance

• Assist the Financial Manager with full financial management, reporting, and analysis.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial statements, and cash flow reports.
• Perform accurate reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
• Monitor cost control and assist with inventory and production costing.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and industry regulations.
• Participate in internal and external audits by preparing required documentation.
• Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal departments regarding financial matters.
• Identify process improvements and support operational efficiency within the finance team.
• Provide ad-hoc financial support and analysis to management.

 
Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (BCom Accounting/Finance or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years’ accounting or finance experience, preferably in manufacturing, chemical, or industrial sectors.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting/ERP software
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
• Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment.
