Job Description
As the F&I Manager, you will be responsible for managing all finance and insurance activities within the dealership, including structuring vehicle finance deals, presenting F&I products to customers, negotiating with banks and insurance providers, and ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation.
You will play a critical role in maximizing profitability, enhancing customer satisfaction, and supporting the dealership’s overall sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Structure and present finance and insurance options to customers in a professional and customer-centric manner.
- Negotiate with banks, insurance providers, and other financial institutions to secure competitive rates and packages.
- Achieve and exceed monthly F&I targets and contribute to the dealership’s overall financial performance.
- Ensure full compliance with all legal, regulatory, and manufacturer requirements relating to finance and insurance.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions, prepare regular reports, and provide insights to dealership management.
- Collaborate closely with sales teams to optimize the customer experience and identify opportunities for upselling F&I products.
- Train and mentor dealership staff on F&I processes and best practices.
Key Requirements / Preferred Profile:
- Fully qualified with a minimum of 3–5 years’ experience as an F&I Manager in the motor industry (experience with VW or premium brands advantageous).
- Demonstrable success in achieving F&I sales targets and maintaining high compliance standards.
- Strong negotiation skills with banks and insurance providers.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and customer service skills.
- Highly organized with strong administrative and reporting abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
