• Lead the structuring, pricing, negotiation, and placement of life reinsurance treaties and risk-sharing arrangements.
• Drive the reinsurance strategy in line with business goals, risk appetite, and profitability objectives.
• Advise executive leadership on reinsurance solutions, market dynamics, and capital optimisation.
• Manage relationships with reinsurers, internal teams (actuarial, underwriting, finance), and key stakeholders across two regional markets.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, or a related field.
• Qualifications: Qualified Actuary, Chartered Accountant (CA), or equivalent (advantageous but not essential).
• Experience: Minimum of 7 years in life reinsurance or insurance, with strong exposure to structuring treaty and facultative reinsurance deals (e.g., quota share, surplus, excess of loss).
• Skills:
• Strong financial, actuarial, and analytical modelling skills
• Excellent negotiation and relationship management
• Strategic thinking with a commercial edge
• Team leadership and stakeholder management
