Johannesburg North: IT Ops Manager posted by Network Finance

• Designing new SQL databases and configuration for private markets 
• Building new portals for clients to access portfolios in meaningful ways 
• Overseeing IT infrastructure, architecture, desktop support and network performance
• Identifying, assessing and managing IT risk, including cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities 
• Developing and maintaining IT governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with best practices and standards 
• Implementing and monitoring disaster recovery and business continuity plans 
• Ensuring compliance with local and international regulatory frameworks (POPIA, GDPR, FICA, and FATCA)
• Developing, reviewing and updating IT and compliance policies and procedures 
• Conducting regular audits and assessments 

Education:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Law 
• 5 years’ experience in IT operations, compliance or similar, within financial servers 
• Financial background and commercial understanding in asset management
• Strong management experience 
• Experience with IT risk, governance and compliance frameworks
