Johannesburg North: Market Risk Analyst posted by Network Finance

• Lead the preparation of daily and monthly P&L and position reports, with clear attribution and commentary for senior stakeholders.
• Oversee CTRM system integrity, support enhancements, and coordinate the resolution of technical issues.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of 3 to 5 Risk Analysts, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
• Drive continuous improvement and participate in strategic projects across commodity desks and global offices.

 
Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Education:
• Relevant NQF Level 7 qualification in Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• CA(SA) advantageous; and CFA/FRM a plus.
• Experience:
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in risk management, product risk, or middle office roles.
• At least 3 years leadership or team management experience.
• Prior experience in a trading or financial services environment preferred.
• Skills:
• Advanced MS Excel and Power BI skills.
• Experience with CTRM systems highly beneficial.
• Strong analytical thinking, communication, and organisational skills.
• Ability to lead under pressure, manage complex data, and drive operational excellence.
• Other Requirements:
• Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong sense of accountability and ownership.
• Excellent English communication skills – written and verbal.
