Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Client-Facing Web Systems Development
- Develop and maintain customer-facing web systems with a focus on high performance, scalability, and security.
- Integration of Hardware and Applications
- Build and maintain linking servers and interfaces to seamlessly connect hardware with mobile and web applications, enabling smooth data flow and user interaction.
- New System Development
- Design, develop, and implement new systems and features aligned with the company’s vision of providing innovative security solutions.
- System Maintenance and Incident Management
- Quickly address and resolve critical system failures or issues to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with backend, frontend, mobile, and firmware engineers to solve complex security challenges, ensuring an integrated and robust technology stack.
Functional Outputs and Activities
- Provide timely feedback and updates to the R&D team on assigned tasks.
- Develop and maintain robust backend APIs and business logic to support system enhancements.
- Manage and maintain cloud databases, servers, and associated services for seamless operations.
- Oversee and optimize the DevOps pipeline in Azure DevOps for efficient CI/CD workflows.
- Own the software build process, incorporating redundancy to ensure system reliability.
- Analyze and enhance system performance using tools such as MSSQL, MySQL, Azure Portal, and AWS Console.
- Provide feedback on downstream process issues affecting customer systems and ensure prompt resolution.
- Support testing and customer service teams to resolve customer-reported issues effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Java Proficiency: Expertise in Java and experience with frameworks like Spring Boot.
- Cloud Infrastructure Knowledge: Familiarity with AWS for deploying, monitoring, and scaling systems.
- DevOps Skills: Strong understanding of DevOps tools and practices, particularly Azure DevOps.
- Database Expertise: Extensive experience with MSSQL, MySQL, and cloud-based databases.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and optimize system performance using insights from monitoring tools.
Bonus Skills
- .NET Experience: Familiarity with .NET technologies is a plus.
- Full Stack Development: Experience with frontend and backend technologies is advantageous.
- Performance Optimization: A track record of improving system scalability and reliability.
