This strategic finance role partners directly with senior leadership and the CFO, shaping financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance insights for a key business unit.
You will be the trusted voice behind strategic decisions, turning data into direction and financial models into meaningful conversations. From forecasting the future to analysing performance trends, you’ll help leadership understand the financial implications behind major initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full financial planning cycle, including budgeting, forecasting, and longterm planning.
- Deliver accurate monthly reporting and provide insights into business performance and financial trends.
- Partner with senior leadership to support strategic decisionmaking through financial modelling and scenario analysis.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve financial processes, reporting efficiency, and cost management.
- Monitor performance against targets and provide recommendations to boost profitability and operational efficiency.
- Translate complex financial data into simple, strategic insights even nonfinance people can understand.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Relevant Finance Degree (Postgraduate qualification advantageous).
- CA(SA), CIMA, or similar professional qualification preferred.
- 5+ years in financial management, FP&A, or commercial finance.
- Experience within banking or financial services.
- Proven experience partnering with senior leadership or executive teams.
- Strong financial modelling and analytical ability.
- Advanced financial reporting and forecasting skills.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Ability to translate financial data into strategic insights.
