Job Summary
The House Painter will be responsible for preparing and painting surfaces in residential properties, including walls, ceilings, doors, and trim. Responsibilities include surface preparation, paint application, and ensuring a smooth, professional finish. This role requires a strong eye for detail, proficiency in color mixing, and the ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces by washing, scraping, filling holes, and sanding as neededApply primers, paints, and finishes according to project specificationsMix colors and textures to achieve desired effectsCover and protect furniture, flooring, and fixtures during the painting processClean up materials and tools after each job to maintain a safe and tidy environmentCollaborate with team members and communicate with clients to meet project expectationsMaintain an inventory of painting supplies and materials
Requirements:
Experience: 3-5 years of residential painting experienceSkills:Proficiency with brushes, rollers, spray equipment, and other painting toolsFamiliarity with different paint types and finishesAbility to work with ladders and scaffolding for high areasBasic knowledge of color mixing and matchingPhysical
Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods; lift and carry up to 25 kgOther: Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
