About the Role
An independent engineering firm is seeking a multi-skilled Personal Assistant to support their Directors and various operations. This role combines executive support, project administration, basic design/marketing responsibilities, and involvement in signage and laser-cutting workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Diary and meeting management for Directors.
- Handling quotes, contractor follow-ups, document control, and general admin.
- Acting as the primary support point for various ad hoc and ongoing tasks.
- Oversight of daily office operations, consumables, equipment, contractor coordination.
- Maintaining organisation, structure, and smooth workflow across the office.
- Updating the WordPress website (content edits, images, company news, etc.).
- Supporting graphic design tasks (basic layout, resizing, brand materials).
- Using LightBurn or similar software for laser-cutter file preparation (training can be provided).
- Assisting with signage-related tasks and creative production as needed.
Requirements
- Highly organised, proactive and capable of balancing diverse responsibilities.
- Comfortable moving between admin, operations, and creative tasks.
- Tech-savvy and quick to learn new software and systems.
- Friendly, polished communication style with clients and internal staff.
- Creative problem-solver and strong multitasker.
- Previous experience in signage, graphic design, office management or marketing coordination is a strong advantage.
- Candidates with design/marketing exposure or relevant certifications fall on the higher end.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field (if applicable).
