About the Role
As a Professional Services Implementation Developer, you will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and optimising data-driven document composition workflows for high-profile clients. Our client is a leading provider of customer communication management and document automation technologies, and this role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across data transformation, scripting, workflow logic, testing, and production deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and transform customer data across varied formats including XML, Excel, ANSI/ASCII, and Postscript.
- Build and maintain document templates and workflows for print, mail, and digital output using enterprise composition platforms.
- Develop scripts and programs for data validation, automation, and process efficiency (Python, C#, and PowerShell).
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processing, workflow logic, and end-to-end document automation.
- Collaborate with project managers and developers to deliver customer onboarding and workflow enhancement projects.
- Support testing, deployment, and production acceptance, and maintain clear technical documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 23 years of experience in data processing, scripting, or software development.
- Experience working with Python and/or C# / PowerShell.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
- Variable data programming and print-and-mail exposure.
- SQL Server experience, including stored procedures and database familiarity.
- Knowledge of Unix shell or Windows PowerShell.
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Adobe Suite is a plus.
