About the Role
We are seeking a motivated CAD Operator to join an Electrical & Instrumentation team in Durban, working closely with engineers and designers to create accurate technical drawings and plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed technical drawings for Electrical & Instrumentation projects, including panels, wiring diagrams, schematics, earthing layouts, and lighting layouts
- Revise drawings and markups and track engineering/design changes
- Ensure compliance with drafting and engineering standards
- Maintain high accuracy and quality in all drawing work
- Work effectively under pressure within fast-paced projects
Requirements
Matric and/or relevant tertiary qualification
Minimum 1 year experience as an Electrical CAD Operator
Proficient in AutoCAD 2D; 3D AutoCAD / Revit experience is beneficial
Strong organizational, time management, and decision-making skills
Self-driven, accountable, and willing to learn new skills
