About the Role
The Programme Manager is responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of complex programmes within the banking and finance sector. This role requires proactive management of multiple related projects to ensure alignment with strategic objectives, budgetary controls, risk mitigation, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive programme plans that align with business objectives and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate and oversee multiple related projects, ensuring integration and alignment to achieve programme goals.
- Lead the identification, assessment, and management of risks and issues throughout the programme lifecycle.
- Manage programme budgets, monitor expenditure, and ensure financial targets are achieved.

- Ensure adherence to governance frameworks, regulatory standards, and organisational policies.
- Report regularly to senior management on programme status, risks, milestones, and outcomes.

- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and third parties as required to support programme objectives.
Requirements
- A recognised qualification in project or programme management such as PRINCE2 Practitioner, MSP, or equivalent.
- Demonstrable experience managing large-scale programmes within the banking and finance sector.
- Strong understanding of financial services regulations and compliance standards.
- Education: A degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
