About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee the end-to-end management of equipment builds and lead the field service teams that support our products in the field. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and oversee equipment build projects from inception to completion.
- Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time delivery.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and production teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize delays.
- Ensure compliance with quality control standards and regulatory requirements.
- Track project performance using KPIs and report progress to senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in mining, construction, industrial, or heavy equipment manufacturing.
- Proven experience in managing equipment builds and overseeing field service teams.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems in heavy machinery.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project or similar).
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Willingness to travel to job sites and customer locations as required.
