Key Responsibilities
- Project Management: Oversee the end-to-end management of solar PV projects, from initial planning to commissioning and handover, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance on electrical systems, designs, and installations for solar PV projects, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Budget & Schedule Management: Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources, ensuring milestones are met and costs are controlled.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure that all projects comply with local regulations, industry standards, and safety protocols.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to prevent project delays or issues.
Requirements
- Professional Registration with SACPCMP as Pr.PM or candidate
- Bachelor’s Degree: Electrical Engineering (or related field)
- 3+ Years Solar experience (managing commercial and industrial/utility projects)
- Strong understanding of solar PV systems and electrical engineering principles
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent inter-personal communication skills, experience working with contractors.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic problem-solving environment.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
