Business Unit: Motus Car Rental Department: Business Analysis and Innovation Location: Bruma, Johannesburg Reports to: Senior Manager: IT Business Analysis & Innovation The Business Analyst contributes to the organizational goals to elicit and analyze the business requirements of new initiatives and translate the information into a documented scope, ensuring it covers all aspects of the development, including exceptions and risks drive optimization of required processes track, monitor, and ensure the execution of the documented scope. Minimum Experience: 3 years of business analysis experience with a successful track record of delivering IT related projects on time and within budget. 2 years of project management experience. Minimum Qualification: Degree/Diploma within IT/Technology/Computer Science (NQF6) Minimum Requirements: Valid, unendorsed Code 8 drivers license. Computer literate Intermediate level in Excel modelling incl VBA coding and Visio. SQL and POWER BI Job Outputs: BMBOK related activities (Business Case Development, Requirements Analysis, Functional Design, etc.) PM related activities (Stakeholder Management, Project Planning, Reporting, Budget Management, Issue and Risk Management) Elicit and analyses business requirements in terms of solution scope, feasibility, impact and offering of alternative solutioning. Participate in design session to ensure that the solution is aligned with the business requirement and a quality solution will be delivered. Contribute to the Product definition and design to ensure that new solutions are documented in accordance with executable specifications, optimizing the development process. Review UAT test cases and ensure that the functionality meets the business requirement. Engage with PM & IT on a regular basis during the lifecycle of the CR/ requirement. Investigate industry trends and best practices, review and optimize implemented business processes to ensure that the processes are adapted to cater for identified are as of weakness/failure. Ensure that all documents delivered are workable templates with document tracking and audit controls (version control, distribution/stakeholder lists, history of updates etc.). Prioritize deliverables to ensure documentation is completed within the agreed timelines. Ensure compliance with all governance, procedures, and processes for approvals. Ensure that all defects are raised with the relevant team for resolution and are logged and tracked until resolved.
