Duties and Responsibilities
HR AND STAFF MANAGEMENT
• Interviewing candidates for potential store employees
• Signing of Contracts with new staff members
• Issuing of Warnings
• Resolving Issues with Managers and staff
• Commission Calculations
• Manage Staff Leave
• Manage Staff Performance
• Prepare Staff AOD’s for approval, once approved process sale on the system
• Ensure Company Procedures
• Manage staff attendance (Arriving on time, at work when scheduled and leave according to roster)
STAFF TRAINING
• Training of Staff in Products / Selling
• Arranging for Suppliers to train staff on new or existing ranges
• Implementing new system to make things run more smoothly.
• Brand Knowledge and Training on Stock
MARKETING
• Building up of a client database within the stores
• Capturing of existing database from previous launch and black card members and combining them with store databases to use them to promote specials to our clients to bring them into the stores.
• Running of competitions to tie in with our Marketing campaign
• Liaising with Suppliers to arrange sponsorship of prizes or discounts
• Meeting with Social Media designer to handle Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
• Working with suppliers and clients on Media marketing as well as special campaigns
• Arrange gifts for Golf Day Giveaways
OPERATIONS
• Ensure that merchandising standards are up to date in all stores
• Ensure that Sales are highlighted aggressively
• Do monthly rosters for all stores
• Calculate individual targets for all stores and retail employees
• Monitor and manage IBT’s into and from the stores
• Monitor and manage actual Sales of Staff against their set targets
• Ensure Daily cash ups are done accurately and on time
• Approve discounts as pe company policy and procedure
REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE OF STORES
• Dealing with the repairs and maintenance in stores, such as damages, Electrical and snag lists
• Setup / display of new units in store
• Assisting Merchandiser with new stock layout in stores
• Have got an optometrist on board to assist with repairs.
• Co-ordinating repairs of products for clothing, watches, sunglasses etc.
STOCK
• Monthly Stock Take
• Weekly Stock reports to CFO
• Movement of stock to stores
• Weekly Stock counts on items for replenishment orders
• Assist with variance counts on Stock take
• Maintaining stock categorization on system to ensure efficient reporting
• Placing re-orders with suppliers, managing optimum levels of stock at all times
• Take inventory counts,
• Cycle Counts
• Random spot checks
• Replenish store stock by ordering for HQ
• Ensure Stock Accuracy as per system differences
• Ensure all warehouse items are priced accurately and efficiently
• Ensure all items in stores are priced effectively and efficiently
• Ensure stockrooms of all stores are always neat and tidy.
SALES:
• Set Monthly Sales Targets
• Monitor Sales Team’s targets
• Performance Management off Sales Team
• Manage Event Sales
CUSTOMER FOCUS:
• Customer liaison / Queries / Stock Requests / Complaints
• Insurance quotes
• Authorising of discounts for customers when required
• Dealing with unsatisfied customers and finding solutions for problems, if possible, about service, stock, and staff

• Fluent in English and Afrikaans
• Knowledge and experience in sales of exclusive brands
• Assist Group Sales Executive GP Stores
• Required to work between all stores
