Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers, identifying their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Sales & Negotiation drafting quotes, pricing, specifications, used truck options etc. Negotiate sales and close deals to achieve sales targets.
- Inventory Management – Stay informed about the used truck inventory, present trucks for sale and assist in the truck check-in process.
- Handle sales paperwork, secure deposits and process contracts. Coordinate with service and finance departments to ensure a smooth sales process.
- Identify and contact prospective customers in relevant industries. Travel to prospective and existing clients to build and maintain relations.
- Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, competitor offerings and industry developments.
Skills & qualifications:
- Matric (sales qualification will be advantageous)
- Valid drivers license (code 10 or higher will be advantageous)
- Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in a sales position in the truck/ automotive industry
- Must have extensive truck and truck parts knowledge
- Ability to generate leads and build relationships
- Computer literate and ability to maintain accurate sales and customer records
- Sales targets driven
- Willing to travel
- Fully bilingual
