A well-established engineering solutions provider is expanding its footprint across the African mining market and seeks an experienced Sales Engineer with a strong background in industrial gearboxes, power transmission, or heavy mechanical equipment. This role suits a technically strong sales professional who understands mining environments and is confident managing complex, long-cycle sales across borders.

Key Responsibilities

Sell industrial gear units, drives, power transmission or heavy mechanical solutions into mining or heavy industry
Manage key accounts and develop new business across multiple African regions
Provide technical input on equipment selection and application suitability
Navigate long sales cycles, tenders, and project-based opportunities

Requirements

Proven experience in technical sales of industrial gear systems or similar mechanical equipment
Strong exposure to the African mining sector (local and cross-border)
Ability to engage confidently with engineers, maintenance teams, and mine management
Valid drivers license and willingness to travel extensively in Africa

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering or similar (highly advantageous)
