A well-established engineering solutions provider is expanding its footprint across the African mining market and is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer with a strong background in industrial gearboxes, power transmission, or heavy mechanical equipment . This role suits a technically strong sales professional who understands mining environments and is confident managing complex, long-cycle sales across borders. Non-Negotiable Requirements Proven experience in technical sales of industrial gear systems or similar mechanical equipment Strong exposure to the African mining sector (local and cross-border) Ability to engage confidently with engineers, maintenance teams, and mine management Valid drivers license and willingness to travel extensively in Africa Job Experience & Skills Required Selling industrial gear units, drives, power transmission or heavy mechanical solutions into mining or heavy industry Managing key accounts and developing new business across multiple African regions Providing technical input on equipment selection and application suitability Navigating long sales cycles, tenders, and project-based opportunities Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering or similar (highly advantageous) For more engineering jobs, please visit:
