About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Executive to drive revenue growth across our leading hospitality portfolio in Johannesburg, Gauteng. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for securing new business, strengthening key account relationships, and consistently achieving revenue targets within a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities
- Source transient and conferencing/events business across the allocated portfolio
- Manage and grow specific key accounts
- Drive new business through telesales and cold calling within allocated market segments
- Negotiate rates and availability in collaboration with the Group Sales Manager
- Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets
- Attend to enquiries, quotes, confirmations, and follow-ups timeously
- Process vendor registrations, credit applications, and negotiated rate agreements
- Deliver product presentations to stakeholders and clients
- Maintain accurate records on Salesforce and submit weekly and monthly sales reports
- Develop and execute sales plans within agreed timelines
- Host and attend client events, workshops, trade shows, and familiarisation trips
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12
- Relevant Sales qualification
- Minimum 3 years’ sales experience, preferably in hospitality, travel, airline, or car rental sectors
- Strong existing database and relationships within the relevant market
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and administrative capabilities
- Computer literacy and CRM experience
