Container World (Pty) Ltd is a leading provider in the container industry, specialising in container sales, leasing, and conversions. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead and grow our regional sales and rental team.The ideal candidate will have a strong leadership background, exceptional sales skills, and a deep understanding of operational and administrative processes.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead, manage, and motivate a team of regional sales and rental staff

Handle all rental and sales enquiries, including key account management
-
Explore and expand into new container sales markets and rental opportunities
-
Prepare and follow through with accurate customer quotations
-
Submit and coordinate all relevant paperwork with the Finance Department
-
Assist in preparing credit applications and ensure timely submission
-
Coordinate delivery and collection logistics of equipment
-
Work closely with sales, operations, and administration staff
-
Participate in debt collection and debtor account administration
-
Ensure correct order tracking and documentation for all transactions

Support and lead special projects as assigned

Be familiar with finance and administrative procedures

Comply with SHEQ and ISO standards and protocols

Represent and promote Container Worlds brand

Uphold high levels of personal and professional integrity

Act as a company and stakeholder ambassador

Requirements
Qualifications & Experience Required:
-
Proven experience in a similar sales management role

Strong leadership and team management skills
-
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
-
Ability to handle administrative and operational sales-related processes

Computer literacy (CRM systems, MS Office, Mobile Tools)
-
Familiarity with container or equipment-related industries is advantageous
