About the Role
Container World (Pty) Ltd is a leading provider in the container industry, specialising in container sales, leasing, and conversions. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead and grow our regional sales and rental team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and motivate a team of regional sales and rental staff
- Handle all rental and sales enquiries, including key account management
- Explore and expand into new container sales markets and rental opportunities
- Prepare and follow through with accurate customer quotations
- Submit and coordinate all relevant paperwork with the Finance Department
- Assist in preparing credit applications and ensure timely submission
- Coordinate delivery and collection logistics of equipment
- Work closely with sales, operations, and administration staff
- Participate in debt collection and debtor account administration
- Ensure correct order tracking and documentation for all transactions
- Support and lead special projects as assigned
Requirements
Proven experience in a similar sales management role
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle administrative and operational sales-related processes
Computer literacy (CRM systems, MS Office, Mobile Tools)
Familiarity with container or equipment-related industries is advantageous
