About the Role
The Sales Administrator role is a critical component of our sales team, responsible for managing customer relationships, facilitating onsite activations, and providing administrative support to the EVP function.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage a database of customers in accordance with the Customer Allocation List provided by management.
- Establish, maintain, and develop strong business relationships with allocated customers.
- Ensure all customer obligations are met by resolving or escalating queries and complaints promptly and effectively.
- Manage customer expectations through proactive and professional communication.
- Conduct periodic customer service audits and satisfaction surveys to evaluate service delivery and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain consistent communication with allocated customers through telephonic engagement and virtual meetings on a weekly or monthly basis.
- Facilitate onsite activations at both new and existing employer locations, supporting service and product activation.
- Manage the onsite sales process, assisting customers with product selection, contract activations, and service configuration.
- Process multiple quotations and customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinate with relevant internal departments to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery.
- Review stock availability to ensure efficient quotation turnaround times: Internally sourced stock quotations processed within 30 minutes. Externally sourced stock quotations processed within 3 hours.
- Ensure accuracy of pricing on all quotations and invoices prior to submission.
- Attend to Vodacom and/or Telkom new contracts, upgrades, activations, and related queries.
- Provide onsite activations for telecommunications services, including device setup and connectivity configuration.
- Ensure customers receive consistent updates regarding estimated delivery times (ETAs) for orders placed.
- Maintain oversight of connectivity support services.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the EVP function and related departments as required.
- Serve as a point of contact for customers regarding product enquiries, orders, and delivery queries.
- Confirm stock availability and pricing with suppliers.
- Assist internal departments with sourcing stock and obtaining competitive pricing.
