Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled SAP Trade Operations – ABAP Specialist to join our team in Johannesburg for a 1-year contract opportunity. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in SAP Trade Operations and ABAP programming, with a focus on SAP Transportation Management (TM) processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and configure SAP TM (Transportation Management) solutions to optimize transportation and logistics processes.
- Create custom ABAP reports, forms, and enhancements to meet business requirements.
- Work with SCT XPS/PXPS and its integration within SAP TM processes.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex SAP TM issues related to transportation planning, execution, and freight cost management.
- Integrate SAP TM with other SAP modules such as SAP ERP, SAP EWM, and SAP SD.
- Provide technical expertise in SAP TM development, ensuring the proper configuration and optimization of the system.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to design solutions based on business needs.
- Support testing, debugging, and documentation of SAP TM processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in SAP TM development and configuration.
- Proficiency in ABAP programming, with experience in creating custom reports, forms, and enhancements.
- Hands-on experience with SCT XPS/PXPS and integration within SAP TM processes.
- Strong understanding of SAP TM processes such as transportation planning, execution, and freight cost management.
- Experience with integration between SAP TM and other SAP modules like SAP ERP, SAP EWM, or SAP SD.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Skills:
- SAP TM certification is a plus.
- Experience with SCT XPS/PXPS framework integration and development.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
