About the Role
Hire Resolve is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Section Manager Engineering to join their team in Johannesburg, Gauteng. As a Section Manager Engineering, you will be responsible for overseeing the engineering department, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget, and providing technical guidance and support to your team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a team of engineers, providing leadership, guidance, and support as needed
- Oversee the planning and execution of engineering projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the engineering team, providing feedback and coaching as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that engineering projects are aligned with company goals and objectives
Requirements
- Relevant engineering degree such as BSc Engineering, BEng, BTech Control and Instrumentation/Electronics
- Proven track record of extensive practical experience in Instrumentation/Automation management at middle management level
- Experience in Advanced Process Control (APC), Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA)
- Experience in managing third-party contractors and suppliers
Qualifications
- Rrelevant engineering degree such as BSc Engineering, BEng, BTech Control and Instrumentation/Electronics
