Job Summary

Minimum Desired Qualifications National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field Minimum Desired Experience At least 5 Years tendering experience, both Public and Private ICT sector Knowledge of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) Knowledge and understanding of the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (PPPFA) Previous experience working in the ICT sector would be an advantage Good knowledge of the BBBEE Act At least 5 years relevant enterprise ICT (Servers, Storage, Backup, End User Devices) technical experience At least 5 years in Sales At least 5 years in Vendor / Supplier Collaboration At least 5 years in responding to tenders Minimum Desired Competencies Experience with teams and customer relations; has the courage to focus on continuous self-improvement Business acumen with aptitude for influencing and strong written/verbal communication skills Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and the ability to negotiate, persuade, and influence customers Strong professional discipline Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with others Must master the tasks at hand to facilitate processes with team members Critical thinker Exceptional time manager; responsible for completing assigned work with minimal oversight Capable of meeting tight deadlines while working in a rapid, high-pressure environment -Able to work effectively when dealing with limited information and seek details for effectiveness RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITY Tenders/ Bid Ensure accurate submission of tenders on behalf of the company this includes reviewing, responding and monitoring bids. Establish and adhere to proper document management for minutes, tender documents and related documents. Source, compile, submit and follow up of all possible tenders for the Company Ensure that bids are created and completed- bids/estimations/quotations based on customer specification or customer requirements/budget in order to achieve both market competitiveness and high margin for the company. Ensure end-to-end successful and fully compliant delivery of tenders. Liaise with all Partners and Support Services to ensure relevant information is up to date Do write ups about the firm and its services. Ensure credibility and accuracy of all tender proposals and quotations submitted Interpret client queries and respond professionally Analyse tender requests and identify specific requirements Develop an understanding of the specialist ICT Sector writing styles, language usage, etc Write engaging opening sections to tenders, delivering the skills and benefits of working with the company Manage timeous review, signature and delivery of tenders Manage database of tender awarded Monitor and ensure that the tender and legal requirements impacting the tender process are maintained Ensure proactive interaction with clients following a tender award Monitor the financial impact of tender awards Track contract deadlines and renewal dates Provide administrative and technical support (technical information and explanations) for RFIs, RFPs, RFQs and other sales related activities NOTE The above job profile identifies the key areas of responsibility of the position and is not all – encompassing description of duties and tasks. The incumbent will be required to perform similar such duties and tasks in any area of the Bid Office as may be designated by management from time to time. The incumbent will at all times be required to render the highest level of courtesy and service to the company even where such service may fall beyond the main duties or scope of this position.
